"Completed" quartz crystals

It is widely known that jewelry varieties of quartz have long been learned to grow on a laboratory and industrial scale. Distinguishing synthetic quartz from natural, as a rule, is not a big deal, which cannot be said about "expensive" crystals of colorless quartz (rock crystal) and amethyst.
