When choosing cut stones for a collection, the problem of the size of the stones often arises. Some gemstones can be demonstrated by cuts weighing more than a kilogram, while others are extremely rarely represented even by carat stones.

When collecting gemological collections, the type of cut of the stone is often ignored, but when comparing stones it is better to represent them in the form of close, or better, identical in shape and type of cuts.
